Accommodation

Given that the majority of our full-time students come from outside the UK and European Union, we recognise how important it is for the College to help students find suitable accommodation. Our Accommodation Officer is dedicated to this task. The Accommodation Officer provides information on the types of accommodation available, and is pleased to assist students in obtaining somewhere suitable to live.

We understand the importance of assisting students in finding accommodation prior to their arrival and offer homestay accommodation throughout the year. The details are as follows:

Homestay Accommodation cost/week

Standard Single B&B - £145 per week

Standard B&B sharing - £125 each per week

Standard B&B with seven evening meals - £190 per week

Standard B&B with four evening meals - £175 per week

Standard shared room B&B with 7 evening meals - £175 per week

Homestay accommodation is ideal as the hosts treat the student as a full member of the household, which means eating together and sharing the common living areas. It is also a great way to improve your communication skills. The family will provide accommodation and meals as booked and your room will be cleaned at least once a week. The vast majority of homestay families are located in Ealing, a suburban area of London and easily accessible by bus or Tube from the College.

An accommodation booking fee of £35 applies per person.

Homestay accommodation is arranged by Hostfamilylondon.com. The minimum stay with a homestay family is two weeks.

Shared accommodation is for two guests (e.g. friends) booking together for the same dates.

For up-to-date costs, more options, detailed information and an application form please contact the college or go to the download section of this website.

For more detailed information on the types of accommodation available in the UK as well as the implications of living independently, please visit the information sheet published by the UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA) at http://www.ukcisa.org.uk/student/info_sheets/accommodation_overview.php
